Refund policy

1. GENERAL POLICY - ALL SALES FINAL

1.1 No Returns or Refunds

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Due to the biological nature of our testing kits and regulatory requirements, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds for any SageSignal biomarker test kits or related products once they have been shipped.

1.2 Reasons for This Policy

This policy exists because:

Test kits contain biological collection materials that cannot be resold
Regulatory compliance requires maintaining chain of custody
Personal wellness products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons
Tests are manufactured specifically for each order

2. LIMITED EXCEPTIONS

2.1 Pre-Shipment Cancellations

You may cancel your order ONLY if:

The cancellation request is received before shipment
The order has not begun processing
No kit customization has occurred

2.2 Defective or Incorrect Products

We will provide a replacement (not a refund) if:

You received a defective test kit
You received the wrong product
The kit was damaged during shipping
Essential components are missing from your kit

Required for Replacement:

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
Provide photos of the defect/damage
Return the defective kit (at our expense)
Original packaging and all components

2.3 Laboratory Processing Failures

If our laboratory cannot process your properly collected sample due to laboratory error or equipment failure:

We will provide ONE replacement kit at no charge
This is not a refund, only a replacement
Limited to one replacement per original order
Sample must have been collected according to instructions

3. WHAT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND OR RETURN

3.1 No Refunds For:

Change of mind or buyer's remorse
Failure to collect sample properly
Inability to understand instructions
Unexpected or unwanted test results
Emotional distress from results
Medical provider advice against testing
Failure to register kit
Expired test kits
Partially used kits
Shipping delays (unless guaranteed delivery was purchased)
Price changes after purchase
Inability to complete sample collection
Fear or anxiety about testing
Any opened or activated test kit

3.2 User Error

We cannot provide refunds or replacements for:

Improper sample collection
Contaminated samples
Insufficient sample volume
Failure to follow instructions
Damage caused by user
Lost or misplaced kits
Failure to ship sample promptly

4. HOW TO REQUEST A REPLACEMENT

4.1 Defective Product Claims

If you believe you received a defective product:

DO NOT USE THE KIT
Email legal@sagecerebro.com within 48 hours
Include:
- Order number
- Photos of defect/damage
- Description of issue
- Date of delivery
Wait for authorization before returning
Use provided prepaid return label

4.2 Processing Time

Review of replacement requests: 2-3 business days
Replacement shipment: 5-7 business days after approval
No expedited shipping on replacements unless paid by customer

5. SUPPLEMENTAL PRODUCTS

5.1 Non-Test Products

For any supplements, educational materials, or accessories:

All sales remain final
No returns for opened products
Defective items may be replaced within 30 days
Must be in original, unopened packaging

6. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

6.1 Chargeback Warning

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute instead of following this policy may result in:

Permanent ban from our services
Collection proceedings
Reporting to credit agencies
Legal action for fraud

6.2 Arbitration

All disputes regarding refunds or returns are subject to binding arbitration as outlined in our Terms of Service.

7. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

7.1 No International Returns

We do not accept returns from international addresses under any circumstances due to customs and regulatory restrictions.

7.2 EU Cooling-Off Period

We do not ship to the European Union. This policy does not apply to EU regulations.

8. PRICING ERRORS

8.1 Our Rights

If a pricing error occurs:

We may cancel the order and refund the incorrect amount
We may contact you to confirm the correct price
You may cancel if you don't accept the correct price

9. GIFT PURCHASES

9.1 Gift Orders

Gift orders are final sale
No refunds to gift recipients
Original purchaser must request any replacement
Gift recipients cannot exchange for other products

10. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATIONS

10.1 Future Subscription Services

When subscription services become available:

Cancellations must occur 7 days before renewal
No refunds for partial subscription periods
Separate subscription terms will apply

11. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

We provide no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

Test accuracy
Result satisfaction
Fitness for any particular purpose
Medical utility

11.2 Limited Remedy

Your sole remedy for any issue is replacement as described in this policy.

12. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

California residents may have additional rights under California law. However, given the biological nature of our products, health and safety codes may override typical consumer protection statutes.
